Key Features

• Global Structural Data: Centralized management of lesson periods, school years, and holiday blocks by the network administrator.
• Space-Specific Schedules: Every class space receives its own dedicated timetable with subject management.
• Collaborative Lesson Planning: Teachers can store daily plans, notes, and homework for every individual lesson.
• Calendar Integration: Native integration with the HumHub Calendar module, automatic school week (SW) and calendar week (CW) calculation, and holidays as all-day events.
• Granular Permissions: Define who can edit the timetable and who is excluded from viewing lesson details (e.g., hiding teacher notes from students).
• Beamer Mode: Server-side presentation mode that hides all lesson subjects with one click, allowing safe projection of the calendar in classrooms.

Setup

Global Setup (Admin)

1. Go to Administration → Class Schedule.
2. Create at least one School Year (start and end date).
3. Define the Lesson Periods (e.g., 1st Period: 07:30–08:15).
4. (Optional) Enter global Holidays.

Space Setup (Teacher)

1. Enable the module in a space under Space → Modules.
2. Click Configure to set edit and view permissions per user group.
3. Select the school year and start filling in subjects.
