"Push Notifications" is a module that enables instant notifications for users regarding activities within your HumHub installation. This feature enables users to stay updated with important events and updates, thereby enhancing response time, collaboration, and efficiency within your organization.

Overview of functions and features:

• Allows your network to send push notifications
• Gives you and your users the ability to define when notifications are triggered
• Notifications are sent via Google Firebase
• Supports desktop and mobile notifications

The module is recommended as matching extension to our Progressive Web App (PWA) and Mobile Apps. Push notifications can be configured in the admin menu under "Settings", "Notifications" in the "Mobile" column.

Brave browser: by default, Firebase is disabled. "Google Services for push messaging" must be enabled in the browser settings.
