Optimize your HumHub instance for Google and Co.
Title and description decide on how your page looks in the search results and let search enginges understand what your page is about.
You have two ways to edit the SEO settings of a page:
The admin page "Contents" shows all pages that are included in the sitemaps and gives you the possibility to edit their SEO settings with one click.
With the SEO mode you can browse through your network. A button is added with which you can edit the SEO settings of the current page. This works for all pages with an SEO-friendly URL. Since version 1.1 also URLs with an "id" parameter (e.g. eCommerce products) are supported.
Title and meta description are translatable as described in the HumHub docs. The message category is SeoModule.custom
.
Requirement: guest access is enabled in your HumHub instance.
The sitemaps contain:
... and global pages:
Pages that are not visible to the public are ignored. More Details in the documentation

You can exclude certain pages from indexing by search engines.
Technically this means that a noindex
tag is added to the page and it is excluded from the sitemap.
